*Important note on Audio Files:* Abrège does not store original voice recordings. Audio files are processed in-memory or as temporary files and are purged immediately after the transcription is generated.
3. Cookies & Tracking
We only use **essential cookies** for account authentication via Magic Links and security. We do not use any third-party marketing or advertising trackers.
4. Third-Party Subprocessors
We rely on trusted third-party services to deliver Abrège:
- Meta (WhatsApp Business API) – for receiving and sending messages.
- OpenAI – for transcription (Whisper) and summarization (GPT).
- Stripe – for secure payment processing.
- Hetzner – for private server hosting (EU-based).
5. Data Storage & Security
All personal data (phone numbers, text history) is stored on our private servers in the **European Union**. We use industry-standard encryption for data both in transit and at rest.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data and transcriptions.
- Request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Request the deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Object to data processing for legitimate interests.
7. Data Retention
We retain your transcription history as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is permanently erased from our database within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to keep (e.g., invoices).
